Natural minor (relative minor) scales

The natural minor is also known as the relative minor. This means it is related to a major scale. This relationship will be explained later in the course in “How to understand key signatures”.

A natural minor scale is formed by the following sequence of intervals.

Tone, Semitone, Tone, Tone, Semitone, Tone, Tone
