Ready steady go

As you can imagine, this just scratches the surface of the subject of composition, and is a personal view. You may find different ways to create your music, and that is good, because if we all did it the same way, it might get a bit boring! There are some common factors. Most composers have to work at it, persist with it, keep everything they write, find ways not to repeat themselves, and avoid sitting at a blank screen with a head full of nothing! It is not easy, but you will find that the results are worth the time and effort you put in.
